Cook School: Larder Basics – Autumn

Thursday 19th September

£70.00

Having a well stocked larder is the key to adding flavour to your cooking, meaning that you are just minutes away from a delicious meal. It is also a way to boost the nutritional content of your food by adding a whole variety of extra herbs and spices to your food. In this workshop Libby will teach you how to create some of our favourite larder basics using a variety of seasonal ingredients; vegetables, pulses, seeds, fruit, spices and herbs. There will be plenty of suggestions for ways to use these larder basics for quick every day meals.

As a nutritionist and cook, Libby has created this workshop to help you feel confident and prepared to create all sorts of delicious nutritious lunches and suppers. These are the staples that will make cooking meals at home quick and easy with big hits of flavour.

As you arrive, Libby will introduce you to the foundations of seasonal cooking over a glass of kombucha or seasonal cordial, before you enjoy a series of guided hands-on cookery sessions to create your own larder staples. We’ll share lots of snacks and tasters throughout the evening and you’ll leave with plenty of jars full of delicious dressings, sauces and other store cupboard essentials ready to fill your larder at home.

“A relaxed and inviting experience. I came away from the day excited to get in the kitchen and create!”

“The workshop was brilliant! You will leave with lots of new ideas, new recipes, and with a new thinking of nutritious eating. Highly recommend.”
