Seasonal Suppers – First Harvest

A long table. Shared together. A celebration of time and place. Abundant energy. Nestled amongst the long grasses. Star filled skies overhead. Platters piled high. Farmer’s abundance. Lovingly cooked. Candles lit. Stories shared. A moment captured. Celebrated together.

Our seasonal suppers return and we can’t wait to welcome you! This time of year marks the first harvest and is a celebration of the bountiful seasonal produce that’s available to us. We’ll lay our long tables out in the field at the farm and as the sun starts setting we’ll share cocktails (or mocktails) made from herbs and ingredients grown on the land. Libby will craft dishes that pay respect to the season, showcasing the best locally sourced, naturally grown food.

The evening includes:

  • Gather with a probiotic cocktail or non-alcoholic cocktail muddled with herbs foraged from our fields and connect over seasonal canapés
  • Head over to the long table to share three courses of the best local, organic, seasonal food
  • Enjoy a wine pairing with local, organic and natural wines or a non-alcoholic drinks pairing.
  • Finish with locally roasted coffee or a herbal tea grown on the farm

Location: Field Food Barn near Southease, just 5 miles from Lewes. The exact location will be emailed to you 1 week before the event.

Due to the nature of our dinners, and working with local and seasonal produce, our menu is subject to change. We therefore cannot provide menus ahead of time.
