Cook School: Simple Seasonal Salads – Summer

Saturday 29th June

£95.00

The big platters piled high with beautiful seasonal salads are always a favourite on our menus. Join us for this summer cooking workshop and learn how to create delicious salads using the produce grown on our allotment and from local farms. Libby will teach you how to create some of our most popular salad recipes using a variety of vegetables, grains, pulses, seeds, fruit and herbs, along with plenty of suggestions for variations for both hot and cold salads, dressings, dips and accompaniments.

As a nutritionist and cook, Libby has created this workshop to help you feel confident and prepared for all sorts of summer barbecues and gatherings as well as nutritious lunches and suppers.

As you arrive, Libby will introduce you to the foundations of seasonal cooking over freshly made tea and coffee, before you enjoy a series of guided hands-on cookery sessions to create your own dishes. We’ll sit down together to share a lunch of dishes prepared during the morning, and you’ll leave with plenty of meals prepared ready for the weekend ahead.

“A relaxed and inviting experience. I came away from the day excited to get in the kitchen and create!”

“The workshop was brilliant! You will leave with lots of new ideas, new recipes, and with a new thinking of nutritious eating. Highly recommend.”
